LGBTQ2S+ Owned
About Us:
We create custom, quality handmade clothing made in house and sourced in BC. Queer, woman- owned business celebrating all bodies being comfortable in every space.
I (Anie Hepher) am a maker and find endless energy in creating for those around me.
As a teen I often felt uncomfortable in my own clothing and have always been drawn to textiles that are breathable, have a little ease and are comfortable all around. My mother was a seamstress and so my story began with pillowcases to pyjama making at a young age.
When COVID crept into our little rural mountain town, I was looking to work from home and had an industrial machine waiting to be used for “when I had more time”. I began testing and scouting the web for the BEST overall pattern to begin a overall world takeover! Mission complete and fast forward and many pairs sewed, sold, delivered and enjoyed, I’m thrilled to be part of the BC local made market. IAt this point all sales are online and custom made, with a brick and mortar dream of “one day”…
We Sell:
Sustainable, handmade wearables including overalls, shorteralls and pinafores. Seasonal knitted goods and whimsical gifts.
To Me, Supporting Local Means:
For us, supporting local means sourcing materials as locally as possible, as well as lifting up other local businesses through collaborations and other means.
