About me:

I am a Vancouver based artist who graduated from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. I started making art as a child and continued into adulthood. As a POC I like to incorporate some of my Jamaican heritage into my work using color and tropical inspired motifs.

Some of the things I enjoy are ; botanical gardens, learning languages, museum tours and haute couture runway shows. My inspiration comes from the tropics, botany, human anatomy and I love to create a sense of joy and celebration within my work.

I work with acrylics, watercolours, ink and Photoshop to create vibrant and energetic colour palettes. I am focused in decorative and textile illustration. Nothing brings me more joy than to see people interact with my designs with a sense of curiosity and wonder.

I sell art prints, art originals, home decor and accessories.

Supporting local to me means:

Using my dollars in the local community to encourage the growth of the local economy. I think it’s important to support independent makers to encourage hand made and eco-friendly products too. Also the connection that people make when buying local fosters a sense of community between us all. As a person of colour I want to support local makers rather than big corporations.
