Welcome to Minterior! I am an artist, craftsperson and mum of two beautiful children based in Vancouver, Canada. I am of Sri-Lankan heritage and am originally from London, UK, with a background in fine art and design.
As a little girl, I adored playing with dolls and making DIY dollhouses with humble cardboard boxes and candy wrappers.
In today’s modern world, however, there are many more possibilities. We as adults and parents want to give our children the incredible accessories, toys, and opportunities we never had. Minterior was born out of the idea to add a personal touch to my kids’ dollhouse furnishings during Christmas 2018. Opting for a cost-effective approach, I handcrafted most of the pieces myself, igniting a love affair with the enchanting world of miniatures.
