House of Curio
Richmond, British Columbia
Ani got started with House of Curio right when covid started. She was home from work and very bored when she remembered she had ordered resin months ago. Ani was too afraid to play with it at first but then the boredom got the best of her. She experimented with making coasters at first and they turned out horrible!
Day after day Ani made more and more items and realized she wasn’t making them out of boredom anymore. Ani was genuinely captivated by this new art. She showed her coworkers some of the things I’d made and one of them put in a custom order for her mom’s birthday. Ani realized she was providing something handmade that people actually liked and hasn’t looked back since. Resin has given her the creative outlet Ani was missing.
Resin home decor such as coasters, trays, charcuterie boards, and recently, resin pendants.
